Weekly Meal Plan 7/14

Last week was a fabulous break from reality for my family as we flew to Minnesota to visit the family lake cabin and reunite my father’s side of the family for my grandmother’s 100th birthday.  We had the full Minnesotan experience including cheese curds and meat sticks on the way to the cabin, mosquito bites and loon sightings.  However, after an extended period of not really worrying about the diet, it is time to get back on the healthy eating wagon dontcha know!

  • Monday – Turkey Goulash with roasted red pepper & Zucchini – Eating for Life DSCN2848

  • Tuesday – “Darn Chicken” i.e. Braised Chicken Breast with tomatoes & carrots over brown rice

  • Wednesday – Puerto Rican Rice & Beans with chicken breast

  • Thursday – Turkey Burgers with baked fries and broccoli

  • Friday – Leftovers

  • Saturday – Fish tacos with black bean & corn salsa

**If this is your first time viewing a weekly meal plan from me, then let me bring you up to speed.  One of the best ways to loose weight or maintain a healthy eating schedule is to plan ahead.  Each week, when I put together my own meal plan for my family (husband and 3 kids) I do my very best to post it for others to follow or share.  Oh yeah, if you wonder why I never post any Sunday meals, it is because we follow the old Body for Life concept of eating clean for 6 days and then having a free day
